Shew! I've been completing math problems up a storm tonight. When we first moved into our new house, we didn't have internet access. It took over 3 weeks for us to secure internet access due to the cable company being a bunch of dumbasses. At any rate, due to my work schedule and life just generally being crazy, I wasn't able to get to a computer with internet access for the entire 3 weeks. This means my schoolwork went all to hell. It is week 7 of 12 in my problem solving class (problem solving is a fancy word for really confusing math) and I was, until today, still in week 2 as far as the work completed goes. Well, I'm now on week 5. I did 3 weeks worth of work in a few hours tonight...and I'm still going strong. My goal, albeit an insane one, is to get all the way through to at least week 7, if not completed week 7 before dawn. Wish me luck!

So, today I was thinking...you know, I just created a new email address, I don't need the old yahoo one. So, I requested my account be deleted, which immediately locks you out of the account, and you will never again be able to use said account. Well, it did not occur to me until AFTER I deleted this account that I like using the account musing_melissa on yahoo instant messenger. And now I am no longer able to do that.

I didn't even have a chance to write down the screen names of people I want to talk to so I don't have anyone on my contact list, except my husband, but I know how to get in touch with him. ;)

So, that said. I created a new yahoo account, solely for chat purposes. I would really like my LJ friends to add me, so that I can chat with them.

          So...I've posted on LiveJournal quite a bit lately. I think I'm starting to...umm...like it, or something. Gosh, I dunno. I miss the community here at LiveJournal. 360 has a bit of a sense of community, but not like here. I have lost touch with virtually ALL my LJ friends, save for two, and I'm thinking about joining a few communities and seeing what happens. I will always prefer blogger, and I will most likely continue to use blogger for my other sites. Yahoo 360 blows. Well, ok, I'll be fair. 360 doesn't really blow, but some of the people on it do.

I started my second 1/2 quarter class this morning. (we are on the quarter system (duh!) and one class is the entire quarter, while your other two classes are split in half...just 6 weeks long, and run consecutively. So,I just finished my communication class and now I'm starting my information systems class. Fun, fun. Actually, it is.

If only I had my text book. It was mailed on the 21st...class starts on the 23rd. Why the hell didn't they mail me my book sooner?! Sheesh.

It suddenly occured to me that not everyone is interested in my recent wedding. So, I created a site just for wedding related stuff, including photographs. This way, interested parties can read up on this sort of thing, while the rest of my readers can go on with their lives, so to speak.

Other than wedding stuff (you'd think it would be over when the ceremony is over...) I've been busy settling into our new house. We're just about completely unpacked and the place is really starting to feel like home. My favorite room in the house, however, is the covered front porch. I have my rocking chair out there and I just sit and watch the trees move in the breeze or the birds do their thing. Its so nice. I haven't had that in far too long.

March 17, 2007 will go down in history as the day my beloved and I publicly proclaimed our love for each other and sealed our commitment. I am now a married woman and I couldn't be happier! It was a beautiful ceremony, filled to the brim with little personal touches and truly heart-felt sentiment. Eric and I each wrote our own vows, and I also wrote some "vows" to his two children, essentially promising to always love them and to always be there for them. I also promised to do my best to make sure they grew up to be really good grown-ups. :) There was not a dry eye in the house, and for a former drama geek, that's a damn good thing. ;)

The ceremony was followed by good food and good company. Eric and I stayed in a local hotel courtesy of the best man and it was a lot of fun. Now, we're home again and nothing's really changed...except the knowledge that we are really stuck with the other. LOL! That's a good thing. :)

As you can see, I'm not leaving LJ behind. I've made a few posts lately, and I will probably continue to do so. I just can't stay away!!!   

I just completed all the course work for my classes, including the final exam in my business class. So, technically, I'm now on SPRING BREAK!!! WOOO HOOOOO!

I performed a little below par, in my opinion. I received a final grade of 84% in my writing class and 83% in my business class, both of which are B's, but they're low, and that frustrates me. I worked hard and I think I should have done better. But, they're NOT bad grades, so I should be happy about them.

I hate being a perfectionist!

I am trying to get away from the time-sucking black holes that are LiveJournal and Yahoo! 360. I still would like to write a blog…and I still would like people to read my writing. That’s where my new blog comes in. Its been hanging around in the corner, waiting to be noticed, and today is its day to finally shine.

Yesterday morning, I slipped on some ice while scraping my windshield. It hurt, but I didn't think it was a big deal. In fact, I walked around all day, barely limping, and didn't think twice about it until I came home and looked at my ankle. It was immensely swollen and bruised. On top of that, I could barely move my toes, and they were numb. We thought it was broken...and so I went to the E. R., which took HOURS! Ugh. They took some x-rays and thankfully, my ankle was not broken, but, in the words of the doctor, it was sprained "really bad". I now have it in a plastic brace, elevated, and I am supposed to ice it every hour, but I haven't done that yet because I'm lazy. LOL! I can barely walk, because my crutches are a pain in the freakin' ass. I can't walk without the crutches because I'm a cripple (temporarily) and it hurts. But, with the crutches I just sort of hobble around slowly and I can't carry anything or get anything done. Its a little frustrating. But, I'm sitting comfortably in bed, at the moment. Thank god for laptops and wifi internet.

I'm supposed to stay off my feet for the next 5 days. I am predicting lots of random blog posts out of boredom. Be prepared! :)

So, I seem to have forgotten about LJ, slightly. But, I have remembered, once again, how much I love (and hate) LJ...and am back on the scene, at least until I forget again. LOL!

As for me, I'm finishing up the last week of school for this quarter...which is hectic. Last week I completed 2 weeks worth of work in about 3 days, which was exhausting. I was behind due to my beloved's back surgery, which went remarkably well. I'm all caught up now, and I have a research paper (on Internet Addiction, of all things) to work on, as well as finishing up my business class. Then, spring break...and then a new quarter, which will bring unknown goodness, as I have no idea what classes I have been signed up for. (You see, at ITT they sign you up for all your classes automatically, which is good, in a way, because you can't fuck around and take whatever you want. It sucks, at the same time, for the very same reason.)

Other than school, I haven't been up to much. Taking accelerated classes seems to take the party out life, it seems. But, that's ok with me.
